Swept Back Handlebars are for Lovers

They are a game changer! Their shape creates a very pleasant riding position that works especially well for young and old. While you can still "rock and roll" with the faster crowd...these bars invite side by side chatting and deliver a more leisurely experience...unusual in our modern culture of "racing" where someone wins and others lose... some taking nasty spills.
Biking, in the beginning, opened the door for young men and young women to leave their parent's sides and ride together in their neighborhoods. The seeds of privacy during courtship were planted!
I'm certain the swept back handlebars were part of a "romance" explosion...the world needs more of that today!
The addition of a Nantucket Basket filled with flowers or picnic "fixins" completes the experience!

These are the best handlebars. I sit up so straight that I feel like the handlebars are my kitchen table. No more back problems and no more life problems, just straight back, all good, all the time. Bike riding: I love it.

Up dated review accidentally hit 1 star

I accidentally rated Brooklyn Bikes 1 star I am very pleased that I have not ridden my e bike since I got this bike three weeks ago..it's very sharp looking and it's helping me get the much needed excersise..it's light weight I had ordered the lights with it and all is so good . I feel like a kid again been riding to the office regularly..honestly have to say looks good with my leather jacket I wear to work...5 stars for sure!

Nantucket Dreaming

The addition of the extremely well built and attractive Nantucket basket...an accessory to a Brooklyn Bicycle...causes one to experience...dream if you will... of riding on the the on the island's historic bicycle paths... alongside spectacular beaches...picnic essentials within the basket. What a wonderful, peaceful, interlude among the hustle and bustle that surrounds us.
