HOW TO MEASURE YOUR INSEAM:

The MOST IMPORTANT measurement when sizing a bike is your inseam length. Don't base your inseam simply on your jean size. The more precise, the better.

1. Stand with your back against a wall and spread your feet 6"- 8" apart.

2. Place a book between your legs and up against the wall, spine up; raise it until snug against your crotch (this mimics your bike seat).

3. Have another person measure from the top of the book (spine) down to the floor.

4. We strongly encourage viewing this YouTube video on how to properly measure your inseam.

Brooklyn Bicycle Co. frames and forks are warrantied against manufacturing defects for life under the original owner, while parts and hardware are guaranteed for one year after purchase. Of course! We wouldn't ever do anything to compromise your safety so rest assured, the Wythe comes equipped with front and rear caliper brakes.

The perfect bike for short city commutes

I purchased this bike to cycle from my home to my work downtown. It is a nine mile commute. If I work late and decide I don't want to cycle home late at night and in the dark I can easily haul the bike up steps or the escalator to the DC Metro and cycle the final mile home. The bike exceeds my expectations for its quality, lightness and performance. Simple yet elegant!

Excellent Fixie at a Good Price

This is a solid bike. The geometry is spot on for a city commuter, with no toe overlap even on a small frame, and the ride quality is very good with the high grade steel used. The quality of the bike is really a step above what you will find from other companies in this price range. The frame is well made, the paint is nice and even, and the component spec is very good with quality parts throughout. Very satisfied.

Not a day goes by.....

Not a day goes by when I ride my FIXIE here in Manhattan that someone doesn't comment on what a great looking bike. It's a great Bike, I bought from the smart folks at Bicycle Habitat in Chelsea....thanks all. It's my second Brooklyn Bike....I gave my first to a co-worker in Brooklyn in the height of the Pandemic, he had no way to get to work (didn't want to ride subway), he rides it everyday and is now a confirmed biker... and loved his Brooklyn Bike!
