HOW TO MEASURE YOUR INSEAM:

The MOST IMPORTANT measurement when sizing a bike is your inseam length. Don't base your inseam simply on your jean size. The more precise, the better.

1. Stand with your back against a wall and spread your feet 6"- 8" apart.

2. Place a book between your legs and up against the wall, spine up; raise it until snug against your crotch (this mimics your bike seat).

3. Have another person measure from the top of the book (spine) down to the floor.

4. We strongly encourage viewing this YouTube video on how to properly measure your inseam.

Brooklyn Bicycle Co. frames and forks are warrantied against manufacturing defects for life under the original owner, while parts and hardware are guaranteed for one year after purchase. We understand that a bicycle is a big investment, and we want you to be 100% confident your choice.

The Driggs is essentially the premium version of the Bedford. Our Driggs 3 offers a double toptube design with a super durable internally geared 3-speed hub. It boasts cream tires, a rear carrier, and a Chromoly frame. While more economical, the Bedford 8 cuts no corners. It features a widerange 1x8 drivetrain with an external derailleur, a high tensile steel frame, and all the mounting points you'd need to customize your bike.

The Driggs already comes with fenders, a rear carrier (perfect for mounting a pannier), and a kickstand, so check those off the list! It also features mounts for a water bottle cage, a front rack, or a chainguard. With these options, the hardest part of the buying experience will be choosing your accessories.

Driggs 7 is now my favorite bike

I have never owned an upright bike like Driggs, and was skeptical but after reading the reviews, decided to give it a try. I commute to work and was looking for something that I could join the rotation with my other bikes. Now, I hardly ever ride another bike to work, or to run errands. I usually reach for my Driggs, and it has never failed me. The internal gear hub is especially useful when riding on streets where you need to make a lot of stops, sometimes quite quickly. In addition to commuting work, I ride Driggs for everything: biking around the neighborhood, going to the farmer’s market, and running errands. All types and brands of bags fit nicely on the back rack, and I have carried $300 worth of groceries several times. The bike is incredibly fun to ride, durable, and looks fantastic. I subbed a black Brooks saddle and NS pedals but saved the original components (of course). I am so impressed with the Brooklyn quality and brand, I just bought two more bikes — a Bedford 8 speed for me, and Roebling for my wife. I can’t wait for her to experience riding a Brooklyn.
